America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) announced a three-year partnership in 2016. Now we’re excited to share the results of a successful inaugural year!

4,400 Kids & Teens

We helped 4,400 kids and teens at Boys & Girls Clubs in 2016. We provided them free vision screenings, comprehensive eye exams and eyeglasses if they needed them. Seeing clearly can be life-changing. Along with improvement in the classroom, clear vision can help increase confidence in life and in other endeavors like sports and other after-school activities. America’s Best seized the opportunity to work with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. We know that providing the best possible vision care to children can help them achieve their greatest potential and bright futures.

Of all the kids and teens who received eye exams, 98% needed some type of vision correction. Numbers like those show us that a partnership like the one between our company and the BGCA is VERY important to children in the U.S.

There are many Boys & Girls Clubs located across the United States, and we were able to make an impact in 77 of those Clubs. Boys & Girls Clubs can be places of learning, refuge and empowerment for kids and teens. We are honored to partner with an organization like BGCA. The organization’s sole aim is to help young people most in need to achieve great futures as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We are excited to help even more clubs in 2017!

26 states

The Boys & Girls Clubs we partnered with this year are spread across the United States. As our company continues to grow, we look forward to continuing to help more and more kids and teens through our partnership with BGCA. We hope that as the America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses’ footprint expands, we’re able to reach even more Club kids in 2017!
