Go to America’s Best for Progressives at an Incredible Price

The other day I was admiring my father-in-law’s new glasses. It was a trendy frame I recognized immediately as one that my America’s Best retailer carries.

The designer frame was shiny and new and the lenses so clear I couldn’t even tell they were bifocals…progressive bifocals that is!

No line bifocals are truly amazing. The way that you can see out of the top, middle, or bottom of the lens is just an incredible testament to science and technology!

But, what blew my mind was when he told me how much he paid for his glasses. He told me he was able to get two pairs of glasses – both with progressive bifocal lenses – and his total with eye exam was just under $900.

I gasped. “What? You are joking…” I replied.

“No.” He told me the cost break down and all I had to say was…

“I can’t believe you didn’t go to America’s Best!”

Online I found two designer frames just like his that were available at a much better price at America’s Best! He was surprised by the great selection of frames on the America’s Best online catalog and he said that he wished he could have just picked out the frames online before spending all afternoon in another optical store.

If he had gone to America’s Best, he may have also been eligible for the special progressive lenses discounted pricing. In fact, he could have gotten two pairs of no-line bifocal progressive complete pairs of glasses for a lot less than that. And, the deal includes a free eye exam too which is a $45 value right there!

I did notice that his lenses had to have been upgraded. They were just stunning in the way that they didn’t cause any glare and allowed you to see straight through to his eyes.

His lenses were the Digimax HD. These lenses are digitally-surfaced with the Nikon Total Shield anti-reflective coating. The lenses are thin and light and have very little distortion, as they are custom made to your prescription. I think this is one of those upgrades that many people may want to consider.

I hesitated to tell him that America’s Best offered the same type of lenses — for a more reasonable price. But, that news may have been too painful for him to take. I do know that next time he needs new glasses, he’ll go to America’s Best, first!
