Prescription Sunglasses

I’ve been on a glasses journey– trying every combination possible to find what is the most comfortable way for me to see better inside and outside.  I’ve tried just about everything!

I tried just wearing my contact lenses with a cool pair of sunglasses when I’m out in the summer. And although this worked out fine many days, sometimes my allergies prevented me from being able to wear my contacts comfortably, so I would wear my regular glasses and then have to squint in order to see anything on bright days!

I tried Transitions lenses and I really liked them, too.  I loved the convenience of not having to carry two pairs of glasses and was impressed with how quickly they changed as I went inside or out.

Transitions lenses don’t get really, really dark. When I was at the beach or exposed to really bright sunlight for a long period of time, I felt like they just weren’t dark enough.

This year, I’m ordering a new pair of prescription sunglasses.  I’m really excited because I chose my own cool frame and then ordered a really dark gray gradient for the lenses so I can avoid squinting while I’m hanging out by the pool or tanning in the sun.  They’ll have my prescription in them so I’ll be able to see clearly and won’t need my contacts on underneath.

The best thing about ordering glasses from America’s Best is that my glasses will have UV protection in them that is far superior to what you find in those department (or drug) store, pre-made frames.  I also decided to get my lenses polarized so the picture I see through my new shades is crystal clear.

I really like the fact that I’ll be able to continue to wear a pair of stylish designer frames when I’m inside and another pair when I’m out.  I personally think glasses are a little bit like shoes, the more pairs you have, the more look options you can explore!

I chose this great frame by Ray-Ban® RB 4101 for my new prescription sunglasses, but America’s Best literally has hundreds and hundreds of fantastic looks that would be great for sun lenses or regular lenses.

America’s Best is my favorite stop as I get ready for Spring Break.  At America’s Best I can get both my fashion designer frames with corrective lenses for indoors, and another great frame for my prescription sunglass lenses to wear outdoors, all for one low, low price.
