I’ve said it before. Your glasses must match your personality.
There is nothing more tragic than seeing someone trying to wear an eyeglass frame that just doesn’t match their vibe. A hipster in a wild animal print frame by Ann Klein just wouldn’t make sense. An ultra-feminine, pink-wearing, Vera Bradley handbag carrying woman in a pair of black Ray-Ban Wayfarers™ wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense to most of us either.
Glasses are an incredible accessory because you have, literally, so many choices that you can (and should) find the pair that matches who you are! I’ve found, over and over again, that when I try to pick out glasses that I’ve seen on someone else, they usually end up not looking all that good on me because they aren’t a good fit for the rest of my style.
Just as one can overdo it and find an eyeglass frame that is perhaps a little “too wild” for their conservative style. I think it’s a bit of a crime when someone with a big personality and a lot of fashion flair plays it safe with her eyeglass choices.
If you are the type of girl who’s just oozing with charisma and courage, don’t choose a plain and simple eyeglass frame. Go big. Go bold. Have fun and pick glasses that scream, “I’m here and you won’t forget me!”
